The Merdeka Stadium Corporation (MSC) was incorporated by virtue of the Federation of Malaya Act of Parliament No.11 1963. Via this Act the MSC was incorporated as a Federal Statutory Body with effect from 26 December 1963. The Act was subsequently referred to as the MSC Act 1963 (Act 433).

Until the end of 2010, MSC has been entrusted by the government to administer and manage the National Sports Complex (NSC) consisting of four sports complex as follows:

NATIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX BUKIT JALIL

Managed since 1998.

5 venues (National Stadium, Putra Stadium, National Hockey Stadium, National Aquatic Centre and National Squash Centre)

3 recreational Parks (National X-Treme Sport Park, Commonwealth Hill and Sungai Kuyoh River Park)

Promotional activities at least 6 times a year.

Respond to public complaints in less than 3 working days.


NATIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX BUKIT KIARA

Managed since 1998.

 2 venues (Juara Stadium and National Lawn Bowl Centre)

 


JALAN DUTA NATIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX

Manage since March 2009.

3 venues (Tennis Complex, Tun Razak Hockey Stadium and National Squash Centre)

 In line with the success as the host to the 16th Commonwealth Games in 1998, NSC under the MSC Management has worked with and continues to take positive steps to diversify its use in all arenas. Although sport is a priority, but the venues under the management of MSC serves as the most strategic location for the purpose of organizing various events such as concerts, weddings, conventions, expositions site sales and exhibitions which also explains the purpose behind the motto that publish to the public, "Everything Is Possible Here" and "Not Just A Sports Venue".
